Introducing Room4Debate

We’re excited to announce the launch of Room4Debate, a beautiful, engaging site where everybody can create and fuel debates that matter.

We created Room4Debate because we were tired of watching well-known media companies choose “experts” who would debate “important topics.” The time to decentralize who decides what debates matter has come, and we hope you will be a part of this process.

We do one simple thing. We showcase debates of 2–4 panelists across a wide range of categories. You will find debates in topics related to health, business, politics, the environment, food, and many more categories.

What’s best is that you get to create these debates. We won’t choose what topics to debate or who should debate them. It’s up to you. That’s what’s so powerful about this new platform. We are attacking the idea that companies with specific interests choose what you should read and see, and instead giving people the opportunity to make that choice.

Over the coming months, we will continue to work hard to give you the best service possible, including rolling out mobile apps and experimenting with video debates organized by none other than you. ☺
