Day 1: Starting the gym.
Today was my first day (well hour) at the gym! The last time I went to the gym was about 2 summers ago when Rachel and I thought it would be a great idea for us! I mean, it was…but we kept buying ice cream on the walk home because we got too hot :D
I signed up to the gym yesterday (16th May) and went today (17th May)…talk about being eager! I was so nervous initially of going on my own, what if it was busy? What if someone is there that I know? I used google to see what were the peak times at the gym and ended up going at 12 and it was quiet.
Please excuse my red reflection :) I thought I should mention that I’m not bragging in any way or trying to show off…this is purely for me to be able to look back on and hopefully be impressed with my results! I will admit with this that I didnt run on the treadmill…I haven’t yet found a sportsbra that is comfortable and actually the right size for my breasticles.
I really love treadmills as they give a bounce back, unlike running on pavements. Having a back problem makes it very painful for me to run but it takes longer until it starts hurting when I’m on the treadmill.
I hate that feeling of when you get of the treadmill and walking normally seems ridiculous! I went over to the bike machines, the ones that have the back rests to them.
An hour seemed to go so quickly! I waddled to my car after feeling really good about what I managed to on the first day. I’m not an exercise fanatic in the slightest, I don’t go out of my way to exercise at all…until now ;)
When I came back from the gym I was EXHAUSTED! How do you walk again?
When I got home a bath was well needed! I love Lush products! I used Lush’s Metamorphosis bath bomb which I hadn’t used before but I had seen what it does on Instagram and I was really impressed.
Online, it made the water seem black but it made my bath look like a horrible yellow :( The smell wasn't really to my liking either which was a shame but Im happy I tried it cos on the outside, it looks so cool!
I hope you stay with me on this journey! I will be going to the gym at least 3 times a week!! Hopefully I will be able to see a difference if I keep going on like this! I have a family wedding to attend late July which makes it that I have arounf 15–18 hours of gym time (excluding any classes I take). I’m also going to be working at Boots so I’ll be active there too! Fingers crossed it’ll all be ok! :)
Thank you very much for reading and I’ll see you soon!
