This is so true – I work in an office that has two large TV screens running the news on a loop. It’s constant ‘Breaking News’ all day (even long after the story has ‘broken’) and puts you constantly on edge. I find it disturbing that you can sometimes feel the media revelling in a disaster because they know it makes for an ‘exciting’ news day. Brilliant article.
