Finish the Job: Close Out Your Year With Confidence
Christopher Connors

An excellent article, I look forward to reading your book. Happiness and achievement of personal ideals are strongly linked in life. Our goals result from prioritising options from an infinite pool, and we must place most effort on achieving our goals and not become too distracted. As with ascending a stairway, we must go one stair at a time, we cannot jump to our goals in a single bound. So life is a series of stairs, or “projects,” in which completion provides the feedback necessary to tackle the next project.

All unhappy people or “losers” have failed, perhaps to set themselves goals that they value, or to complete key projects towards those goals, or they have adopted too many projects and become entangled in superfluous or low-priority pursuits.
