An open letter to Owen Jones

I remember going to a discussion at the Blackie (Liverpool)earlier in 2015 before I joined a political party for the first time in my life — Owen Jones was there (Tom Watson was supposed to be there but had cried off)
I asked him a question initially meant for Tom — “if as you say real change in this country is to come, it has to come from a grassroots movement; do you think the LP still has the ability to be a vehicle for that grassroots movement”
He didn’t really answer the question because at the time that was in doubt — I am not so sure that it is doubt now, but time will tell if the real power in this country will give any ground.

One clap, two clap, three clap, forty?

By clapping more or less, you can signal to us which stories really stand out.
