Was browsing Pinterest for some journal ideas, and I came across bullet journaling. It didn’t strike me as anything at first. Not until I read more into it and watched the Ryder video.

I remember my beat-up notebooks. The palm-sized notebook I was using for everything wasn’t just cutting it. After I filled it up, I don’t have a way to reference what I have written in there. What I ended up doing was carrying two or three of those notebooks until I grew tired of lugging everybody. Then I will drop the oldest one (jam it in the shelf) and forget about it.

Bullet journaling gave me a key to the note jumble I was collating. It’s so simple I don’t know why I didn’t think of it myself. The key is to create an index as you’re filling up the notebook. And to migrate or remove tasks.

I bought my first bullet journal earlier. Tenured bulleters warned the first one might not be as good as I’d hoped it would be. Much like the first jump Neo made in the Matrix. Which appealed to me even more. Heeheeh.

I will write an update how it will go down. Two months it said. I will know in two months.
