The scope of this topic is immense, and our propositions sweeping, but a good case can be made that we’ve entered late-stage capitalism. (Though Moore’s Law and technology in general promise to become even more disruptive, throwing wrenches into Marxist-informed analyses.)
Perhaps this crisis will encourage a new (ecumenical/humanist) Great Awakening. What might that look like? Is it already happening and I haven’t noticed?
Warren Buffett has warned that we need to find better ways to distribute wealth. Is it futile to construct more just policies when the capitalistic structure is collapsing? Is violent revolution inevitable?
