Very well written. I am currently in the process of adding my projects to my portfolio and this article helped a lot. I have a couple of questions

1. Apart from being a UX designer I also have interest in Photography and Artwork, would it harm to have these two alongside my UX projects in one portfolio? Will it create a distraction for the recruiters or would it add in more of a personality?
2. What is a good/preferred way of building portfolios? I used a HTML5, CSS+bootstrap template to make my portfolio.The results are great, however it consumes a lot of time. What do you guys prefer to make your UX portfolio?
