A neat thing about “technology” right now is that you can start a company and attract top talent from almost any discipline imaginable. It’s hard to imagine a truly great programmer or UI designer working for a hospital. But it’s easy to imagine a great doctor working for a “tech” company.

That’s neat because you get to learn from other people doing very different things and as a result are likely to build a truly great product.
