I just had to fish my wallet out of my pocket to enter in my CVV on a web form even though Safari had saved everything else. My phone was next to me on my desk the whole time and I just wanted to reach over and use Apple Pay. My MacBook Air and my iPhone are already linked and share a lot of information using Continuity — Apple Pay seems like an obvious thing to add to Continuity. At some point it seems somewhat inevitable that Apple will expose the ability to do this on both mobile Safari and desktop Safari which starts to raise questions about how standards-compliant web browsers will be in the future. If Google releases something similar, will it only live in Chrome? Will Apple allow other payment platforms the same ability to pay as easily?
