I totally agree about getting the Israel system. The Canadian Mil. is finally moving towards this to protect our Leopard2 and LAVs. Trophy is already fielded and combat tested and should be acquired asap.

I don’t think the US will buy it realistically. Military acquisition is seen by to many elected officials as a cash cow and as way to help them get reelected, not as a way to save soldiers lives. To many government programs are more about what’s best for me and not what’s best for the country.
