The cost of the planes alone are still what I quoted. The added costs in all those deals is in long term maintenance, training, and initial infrastructure contracts. They will be different for every country buying fighters depending on their current fleet and infrastructure requirements.
Australia’s F/A-18 SH buy would cost them less overall considering they already had the older model F/A-18s. Whereas India buying Rafales that are replacing older model Russian aircraft; will have more added costs. The costs of the aircraft themselves are still set.
