The issue I have is, they are trying to use JavaScript everywhere backend, front-end now trying to force it to talk to physical devices. Where Java and now swift are the best at it. I hear everyone preach about how an individual can’t do everything, you should ultilize people who are experts in an area instead of doing it all yourself. Well why make a programming language do everything. Make it really good at the one thing it does and stop trying to make one universal language. There is a reason there are multiple languages. JavaScript will soon see the day where people realize it cannot be used everywhere and when it does the demand for the other languages will come back.
