Don’t do it. That’s my recommendation. My life has been rather wavy, scary, and tough at time. Folks, I’m 45 years old and have lost everything ( actually given most of it away ) more than once, twice, and….yes….three times. As I right this, I’ve got about $100 buckeroos in my savings account and a pile of bills due at the end of the month. No 401k, brah. No investments. No secret stash in the ceiling tile like my dad once did (maybe he still does). Why die? I’ve swam the depths of the abyss and contemplated suicide, a bunch.

My theory is that life is often painful. I’ve suffered much, much more by trying to avoid pain. A huge chunk of my suffering also comes from comparing to and convincing myself that other’s have a ton of sh*&t that I don’t. This is the demon that will strangle your soul, friends. Think I’ll write a gratitude post. Thanks for the article, Dr. Anhalt. I certainly needed it. My first thing to be grateful for this morning.
