More Than Just a Jpeg — The Business Side of the RRCC

The RRCC has been in the making for over 2 years and that journey has meant a lot of time to plan and think. Established to set the foundations for a cultural creative community in the web 3.0 space the project has built out a solid plan for revenue to ensure that it not only succeeds, but flourishes in every way possible.

Without multiple revenue streams and opportunities in place, there is no room to grow, which is why the RRCC is a lot more than just an NFT. Although the NFTs are the gateway for members to engage within the ecosystem this is simply where it all begins, as there are plenty of revenue streams in place both in the web 3.0 space and the real world, to ensure the project is a lifelong one for its community and members.

NFTs

Where it all begins, the NFTs are the initial foundation that can facilitate the launch and introduction of all the other aspects of the RRCC. Funds accrued from the sale of NFTs will help to establish the project with the resources necessary to build out and expand the other revenue generating aspects of the project.

$RUST

The $RUST token will be the utility token within the ecosystem. All aspects of the RRCC will only be engaged with using $RUST. The token creates countless de-fi opportunities as well as generating returns through commission, farming, pools, and rewards over time.

De-Fi Tools

With $RUST at the centre of the ecosystem its only natural that over time we build out community tools that can give NFT & $RUST holders secure and safe ways of engaging within the community from swaps to auctions and beyond, the RRCC will work with the community to build out the tools they want and need — all powered by $RUST.

Music Sales

Naturally, when it comes to music, it has to be distributed, not only through NFT collectibles and web 3.0 music experience sales, but also through additional physical sales from limited edition vinyl to NFT-Linked music collectibles, to digital downloads, and app store purchases, there are numerous revenue streams in music alone.

Royalty Revenue

On-top of music sales, royalty returns are a big part of the Rusty Robot Records branch of the project. Whether it is the returns from purchased royalty rights of major label artists or the revenue from royalties of in-house and released artists, royalties play a big role at the RRCC.

Streaming and Ad Revenue

Royalties can also be linked closely to streaming which offers not just revenue from plays but also revenue from ad returns. Spotify and YouTube revenues for playlists and channels, coupled with radio, tv, and movie sync plays from streaming and downloads offer another source of revenue for the RRCC ecosystem.

Comics & Collectibles

The other main creative branch of the RRCC is Rusty Robot Comics. The comic side of things not only offers opportunities through the web 3.0 comic experience and NFT collectibles sales to support in-house and upcoming comic book artists, but also through real world comics and graphic novels, NFT-Linked comics and collectibles, and additional memorabilia and phygital collectibles.

Merchandising

With so many fan, community, and collectible oriented aspects of the project, it only makes sense to introduce merchandise as a main aspect of the project. Working with leading manufacturers and distributors, the RRCC will not only create unique limited edition and timeless classics for the RRCC brand, but also support creators, musicians, comics, and artists with all the merchandise support they need.

The Creator Space

The final major area of revenue for the RRCC will be the launch of the Creator Space. The creator space will be a launchpad platform for musicians, writers, comic book artists, and other creatives, to share and fund their releases through a $RUST enabled platform. Allowing the community to encourage and support the next-gen of creators through incentivised web 3.0 releases and experiences.
