Rusty Robot Comic Collectibles
The future of the RRCC is all about creative collections and supporting in-house and independent creators with the distribution of unique and limited-edition experiences in comics, music, and art. Following the successful sell-out of the OG NFT sale we presented a glimpse into the future of the RRCC with the airdrop of the first ever NFT comic collectible in the IOTA ecosystem in partnership with the amazing team at Cromy, to present the community with an insight into where we are heading.
Rusty Robot Comics
The recent announcement of the Rusty Robot Comic branch of the project is the first step towards providing an accessible platform for comic book writers and artists to collaborate with their communities in the creation of new comic universes through an engaging NFT collectible environment.
Releases will be launched directly through Rusty Robot Comics, allowing creators to distribute both NFT collectible releases as well as IRL print editions of their works. The platform we are building ensures that writers and artists can manage and release their own distributions directly to their audiences and fans, cutting out countless middlemen, publishers, and agents, as well as creating a novel collectible culture around their creative works.

How it works
Comic book creators distributing through Rusty Robot Comics will have the option to release individual graphic novels or comic book series as NFT collectible releases through a unique experience that allows readers to easily gain access to and read their works, but also to collect each issue as a series of digital collectibles. Think of your childhood and those sticker albums you used to try your hardest to fill out, or that card collection you so desperately wanted to complete, just in NFT form.
With a collectible culture created around each comic release, the participation and engagement with the community provides many benefits all round. Giving fans access to exclusive collectibles and rewards on issue completion, such as bonus limited edition NFTs, IRL comic books, memorabilia, merchandise, and more. As well as providing an engaging atmosphere for creators to connect directly with their fans on an intimate level, whilst generating royalties and higher returns on their works than through traditional means.
