I am already an eResident, I have set up my company in Estonia and have an eResident bank account at Holvi. I will be attending to show my support for the eResident programme and also to raise some practical issues, for example:

Setting up eResident was straightforward, learning how to use the card and reader was a little confusing because of the different types of software required to use the card and what each software does.

Setting up company in Estonia was straightforward, but be careful of legal requirements for license to operate for some types of business and company information filing requirements. I think I am OK but I am not totally sure.

Setting up account with Holvi was straightforward but the eResident account is set up for a particular type of user. For example for me I need to know the full name and address of Holvi for my customer accounts to set up BACS payment and check that they have not made a mistake with imputing the Holvi IBAN. This information is not on the Holvi web site !

Also the Holvi account comes with a basic eCommerce facility, but for me it is too simplistic, so I have set up a web site hosting account with Bluehost. This took longer to set up than setting up a company and opening a bank account !
