Lets cut to the chase. The big story is this:

Gil Cisneros has taken a 941 vote lead in the 39th Congressional district. The land of Nixon appears to be no more. With this, every Orange County congressional race now has a democrat either projected to win or leading. This is a monumental achievement by Democrats and is undoubtedly a major turning point in Orange County’s political history. Anyway, back to our regularly scheduled write up.

Some uncounted ballot numbers

Total estimated number of ballots to count (after Election Day): 441,011

Total estimated number of ballots counted (after Election Day): 284,770

Total Estimated Left to Count: 156,241

We’re well on our way to finishing up this vote count with another 46K counted since yesterday. Looks like Neal Kelly is really running a tight ship over at the OC ROV. Let's look at number changes next:

**Analysis**

CA-39

Cisneros needed to cut Kim’s margin down to 6,175 votes and crossed that threshold and then some. LA is going to have a favorable showing for Cisneros as well. I will probably call this race tomorrow for Cisneros barring some crazy results from LA. Likely D

CA-45

Porter raked in another generous 2K votes from the vote dump today. Her 6K lead looks pretty solid and looks to only get larger as more votes come in. I am also likely to call this race tomorrow, but for now, I am rating this as Likely D

There isn’t really much more to say about these races until I do some deeper digging into the results by district document. Hopefully, I’ll have some interesting tidbits to discuss from that data. Hope to see you again tomorrow at 5PM
