The firm operates over 20 communities in Wisconsin, Illinois, Minnesota, and North Dakota. An executive active in his business community, Ryan Novaczyk serves the National Investment Center for Seniors Housing & Care (NIC) as member of its Operator Advisory Board.
NIC recently announced that its 2019 fall conference in Chicago will host Dr. Janet Yellen, who served for four years as the Federal Reserve System’s Board of Governors chairperson. In fact, she was the first woman to hold this key economic leadership position.
At the conference’s opening general session, Dr. Yellen will participate in a moderated talk, where she is expected to cover matters related to trends in the global and domestic economy as well as in the healthcare industry. Senior housing stakeholders and other attendees will likely be interested in how the trends Dr. Yellen discusses might influence their own market sectors.
The 2019 NIC Fall Conference is scheduled for September 11–13 and will be hosted by the Sheraton Grand Chicago. NIC expects more than 3,000 people to attend, the majority of whom working in senior executive roles.
