Ryan Chiddister is a food blogger known for redefining traditional recipes with a healthy twist. Using his experience as a food writer, content manager/editor, graphic designer, and social media manager; Ryan has managed to create an incredibly visually appetizing blog. He has always enjoyed cooking and styling food even when he hadn’t started blogging. He likes to do things his way, which implies eyeballing, improvising, & breaking the rules. On his food blog, the readers may come across many creative twists executed on the old favorites. He also shares some of his favorite traditional family recipes that are passed down from generations.

Ryan Chiddister started his food blog three years ago to share easy, healthy, & creative recipes with people. Initially, he sought help from some of his close friends who were food lovers and often served as critics for his posts. Soon, his extravagant treats which he made just for fun got replaced by some serious eats. Currently, he has everything featured on his blog from the latest recipes & menus for parties, buffets, & barbeques; to interesting tips and ideas for budget & family cooking.

Ryan Chiddister was aware of the challenges and competition existing in the food blogging business. Before starting with blogging, he read a few books for inspiration, tips, and tricks. His top favorite is ‘The Flavor Bible’ by Karen Page and Andrew Dornenburg. The book is all about flavors, and is divided into various sections based on different ingredients in alphabetical order. Some other books that inspired Ryan are ‘Ratio’ by Michael Ruhlman and ‘Will Write For Food’ by Dianne Jacob.

Ryan Chiddister also supports many organizations that strive to promote good food through community & environmental work. In addition to this, he is involved with many food banks and anti-hunger groups that are committed to ending hunger all around the world. Some of them are Oxfam America, The Hunger Project, and Bread for the World.
