The Story Of Silence

They first came for Alex…

Being suspended by Medium for an article you deleted months before the suspension came sucks. A lot.

I lost control of the (sort-of) news site I had made while on this platform, along with my assistant writer Ephrom writing exclusively for a fellow friend’s blog. In addition to that, I was in a (still-ongoing, by the way) war regarding my status on Twitter as a threat due to regretful statements I made regarding Buttons’ (real name is widely known by now) health.

There’s still a lot I can criticize Buttons for, but wishing them death when they were almost irrecoverably sick was a dick move on my part, along with doxxing their family. I hold myself responsible for that and the events coming after said dox. And I’m sorry to any member of Buttons’ family I put in danger as a result.

But this article isn’t about that particular event in general. It’s about the systematic silencing I’ve endured from other platforms, specifically Twitter and Instagram.

I’ve been suspended from Twitter 10 times now, starting with my very first account (@SynicalSayori at the time) due to the aforementioned remarks about Buttons’ health along with snide comments towards Sarah, AKA Spoken Mind. Ever since then, no account of mine has lasted more than two months (if even that) or about 200 or so Tweets before the inevitable account locking comes swinging my way. And if I can’t find a number I haven’t used yet, I cave and use the number that was tied to my original account.

Suspended immediately.

And now Instagram is trying to lock me out as well, albeit on a lesser yet significantly more annoying scale. One of my alts on Instagram got locked due to a “Suspicious Login Attempt” when it was just me trying to log in through a friend’s phone to show them something. I then tap or click (dependent on where I am) on the “Send Email” button and go to the Yahoo mail account tied to said account.

Nothing.
And it’s been that way for 3 straight weeks.

I ended up deciding the only way to get into that account is deleting the Yahoo Mail and waiting for the 30-day period to go on before remaking the account under the same username just to get an email I should have gotten 3 weeks ago (at the time I write this).

I’ve been trying to stay relatively stable in terms of having an online presence, but the internet’s general dislike of me along with getting yeeted from different platforms left and right makes it hard.

But now I’m finally reaching a stable point.
And I’m gonna come back stronger than ever.

Reposted to Minds in case I get suspended from here again:
