I’m not sure, since obama definitely wanted to take credit for this and he wasn’t exactly sharing any names around. It’s also a bit tricky, because obama has a history of telling his generals what they should be thinking instead of taking their advice or even listening to them. And in any case not one bit of that should matter. Because, as one of the last liberal presidents I ever respected said, “The buck stops here.”.
