Rag And Bone

Rag and Bone had a lot of deep meaning to it. I felt that the people that were butchered for their skin or used as pieces of meat represent the way rich people use poor people or slaves. Rich people treat the poor as animals rather than human beings. I think this story helped represent slavery in a way and was almost a different view on how poor people will do anything for money. This story did confuse me a little I couldn't quite understand what the character Kate represented in the story. I felt that she was key in the story and represented beauty that is stripped from a world, as dark as one with slavery. All in all this story was a little hard to grasp for me. If anyone wants to set me starit on any thoughts or ideas I have brought up, be my guest.
