The Establishment’s Last Gasp

A great read. After Iowa I’m not sure the establishment is going anywhere just yet. The Sanders push is interesting to me because his appeal to young voters is so strong. I do hope they get out and vote. It is the only way politics will change. The two major political parties won’t pay attention if people don’t turn out and vote. American politics is only about whom shows up at the voting box. I’m more concerned about what the roll of our media has become. There is virtually no investigstive reporting. The last few days it’s like watching reality TV. Cruz said this Trump said that. The public seems resigned to the fact that fraud goes on and that’s the way the game is played. Ted Cruz’s people admitted they “gamed” the system. It’s not a GOP issue because it involves candidates they don’t really like? How is Fox News’s singling out one candidate over others a good thing? I think what it does say is that if Trump and Sanders continue to do well the primary season is going to get nastier. This is after all about power. Not just the in white house but the whole country. The DNC and the GOP are not going to go down easy if a Trump or a Sanders wins their prospective nominations.
