Noem Skips Six Votes in Congress this Week; Campaigns for Next Government Job with Help from Washington Instead

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. — Congresswoman Kristi Noem skipped 6 votes in Congress this week to instead campaign for her next government job with help from Washington DC. In response Sam Parkinson, Executive Director of the South Dakota Democratic Party, said:

“As our only vote in the US House, it’s a shame South Dakotans can’t trust Congresswoman Noem to show up and do her job. This year, Noem has no-showed more votes than 93% of her colleagues in the House of Representatives. And as she calls in help from Washington to save her struggling campaign, Congresswoman Noem skipped 6 more votes just this week to campaign for the next government job of her political career– while still taking home a tax-payer funded salary of $3,300 a week.”
