I’ve been sexually active almost continuously since I discovered this fine method of dancing but rarely find men that are interested in commitment among my generation (who are still available). Yet, the most consistently bestest sex and most fulfilling relationship was my longest one and I yearn for another that is similarly intertwined, though of course now wiser for the mistakes of the past. I’ve tried monogamy and “casual” sex and everything in-between and much prefer monogamy when the connection is good. So much more personal growth and fulfillment comes from actually getting to know your partner than trying to avoid it. I feel sad that I live in a culture where this even needs to be stated as if it’s news. and I feel sad that I live in a culture where so many prefer to be intimate with a drug rather than a person. It’s like they’ve gotten confused about the nature of happiness.
