Van Ness Bus Rapid Transit Will Double the Number of Trees

Critical Project Will Accelerate Muni

The San Francisco Transit Riders support Van Ness Bus Rapid Transit, a project that will accelerate bus travel on Van Ness by 32% and help to make all of Muni faster and more reliable.

“We urge the city to move forward with Van Ness BRT and do everything possible to accelerate its completion,” noted Andy Bosselman, a member of the San Francisco Transit Riders.

“Twice as many trees will be planted as removed and we’re thrilled about that,” he continued. “The beautification of Van Ness is important to all San Franciscans. We’re excited to see the dramatic improvements for pedestrians, too.”
