Intermission 3
I finished writing this draft in June 2015. Promise. Started writing it on 1 November 2013. I even published it so I could get my two free printed copies for beta reading when I won NaNoWrimo in 2015 (evidence: ISBN 9781514747049 priced it to discourage purchases of a work in progress).
Since June 2015, I haven’t touched the text since then except to correct chapter numbers.
Basically, all names, events and things I made up at that time are purely coincidence, etc. etc. etc. You know the disclaimer.
But yesterday and today, I am realising that real life seems to have started to echo fiction. For example:
M might be the Chief
And I might now be Riley
Chapter Twenty-Nine
I can think of a couple of other somewhat uncanny things.
What’s going on?
Other than that I just wrote a haiku.
