Wireframes are becoming less relevant — and that’s a good thing

I agree with a lot of these points. In my expierence, wireframes are great for designers and developers but not the end client. Anyone who isn’t a designer, I feel it’s always harder for them to understand what the final product will be when we show them wireframes. They have a very visual expectation and I think it can make things more confusing. I would rather show my stakeholders a high fidelity mock-up then a wireframe, I think it’s easier to get every across and find problems earlier. Plus, it is so much easier to make high fidelity mockups sooner these days.
