Great article. I feel like I'm in your same boat, same goals, same expectations. I'm actually wtiting three serialized stories right now on Medium, and I love the staggered TOC approach. One story is a 10th anniversary republishing of an old serialized story with 138 parts. it ended up with 100k views over the 2 years it took to write it. One is an older story that was never finished. The third is a new story I just started. Just having fun and want people to enjoy the ride.
