FOCUSING ON A “POSITIVITY MINDSET”

With everything that’s been going on around the country and all over the world, why would I even talk about positivity?! True that it’s easier to complain on the things we don’t even have control of and to put blame on people we haven’t even met on random things we choose to rant about. But what does that make of us and what good does it bring us even?? There are too many positives out there and too much to learn from interesting people to waste your time talking about the misfortune of others. Tell you what. Making it your practice to choose positivity from the time you wake up would surely start up a truly amazing day for you and may even brush throughout your week. According to studies, when you are experiencing positive emotions like joy, contentment, and love, you will see more possibilities in your life, which in turn allows you to build new skills and resources that can provide value in other areas of your life. Isn’t that more than wonderful?! C’mon! So every time you would be tempted to spill negativity to yourself and other people, pause….. Breath! And exhale those thoughts. No good would come out of it, trust me. Exchange those thoughts with these mantra: “Even though I cannot control everything that happens, I can control my attitude toward what happens, so heads up and be easy.” It would be helpful to remember that one positive thought can change your whole day — when repeated, your entire life.
