My “safe” space is more of a “wild” space. The most in touch with my creativity and complete joy is when I’m on open-air music-festivals or anything loud, wild, free with random socialization and handful of good friends. These are the moments that feel real. These are the moments that I can tap in whenever I want to get the creative kick I need. These will be the moments I’ll tell my children and grandchildren about. And yes, I will be the embarrassing, weird old lady standing in the corner of a festival, old and fragile on the outside, wild and happy on the inside.
