Larry Jennings of SMG3's Professional Services Team with his Cradlepoint certifications

Schaumburg, IL, March 21, 2016 — Larry Jennings, a wireless engineer at Strategic Mobility Group (SMG3), is now credentialed as a Cradlepoint Certified Network Professional (CPCNP). Over 15,000 enterprises worldwide rely on Cradlepoint, the leading 4G LTE network solutions software provider for connectivity and security.

The CPCNP is the second certification Jennings has earned from Cradlepoint University, which was designed to train and certify partners and sales teams. In November of 2015, Jennings passed his first certification, the Cradlepoint Certified Network Associate (CPCNA), to advance on to the coveted CPCNP.

According to Cradlepoint University, the Associate certification consists of “administration of Cradlepoint routers, including LAN and WAN configuration, common features, firmware upgrades, and Enterprise Cloud Manager Administration.” The Professional certification includes “in-depth configuration of Cradlepoint routers: including LAN and WAN configuration, content filtering, firewall, VPN, GRE, WAN Affinity, GPS, hotspot services, Advanced ECM, administration, and more.”

In addition to Jennings, SMG3 has another certified Cradlepoint representative — Joe Colly, director of professional services. “Joe and I have the expertise to work with all Cradlepoint devices to better service our clients here at Strategic Mobility Group,” said Jennings. “The certification exams are very informative, well structured, and interactive.”
