Yes yes yes yes! I grew up playing tennis and even though I’m white I always felt a little uncomfortable with that country club crowd. I stopped looking for opportunities to play because I just couldn’t relate with the people who played the sport. I felt less than and so I couldn’t play for fun I had to play to win. Those two wonderful women give me hope for the sport.
