“Will this be on the test?”

Hi Seth Godin,
Let me add 2 cents from India.
My experience with on-line education is not that pleasant and reasons as follows:-
Difference of time factor
Non availability of consistent connectivity for a day or for a week or for a month too
Non availability of power for few hours, for entire day and for entire week
Difference in education system and culture. India v/s rest all
These 4 parameters actually demotivated me in person having tremendous urge, greed and need to learn about finance, about design, about design thinking, about product development and about service development.
Now this is my experience (my truth too) since I am located & based out of rural India. Indian from urban India may agree and/or may add his 2 cents from his/her own experience.
At the end of the day in India, on-line (free or paid or donated or sponsored or gifted) education is still a dream. I am not sure whether I will be able to educate myself or not.
Having said this, hoping for best tomorrow.
Best regards,
SMNP
Note: To type above note, I took 15 min’s and thanks to Internet service providers like BSNL (government of India firm) and like Tata’s. Some how none of the suppliers are able to think, imagine, validate & analyze the amount of potential being lost every second.
