Dear Reader,
Look at above image. I found this image last month on LinkedIn. I saved the image as I wanted to write about it with my own experience.
Request you to close your eyes for few seconds/minutes.
Now will you please bring local Indian printed paper in your virtual memory? What you see?
Now will you please bring Indian TV News Channels? What you see?
Now will you please bring Indian FM Radio stations? What you see?
I’m sure reader of this post will and/or may realize why I gave up (since FY 2000) on Indian printed news papers (first), then on Indian TV (same year), then on Indian cinema (since FY 2005), then on Indian FM Radio (since FY 2005) stations, then on Facebook + Twitter + Whats App and above all, many living Indians (near, distant, close, etc. since FY 2010).
Definition of Gave up : Disconnected forever and till my last breath.
As reader can clearly see in above image. Grey area stands for contents. Red area stands for advertisement.
In India I realized (back in FY 2000) that there was no ownership for the contents broadcasted on various communication channels specifically in printed news papers, on TV News Channels, on FM Radio News Channels, on social media platforms like Facebook + Whats App + Twitter and above all, living countless Indians who were talking (spreading) about contents which they saw in printed format, saw it in electronic format and/or in digital format (bombarded on social media platforms like Facebook, Whats App, Twitter, etc.).
It was too much of chaos, mess, thinking violence, sound pollution and thinking pollution for me.
One by one and step by step I gave up on all these communication channels.
I switched back to book reading, writing, meditation, visiting nature and above all, started meeting living inspirational Indians.
Giving up on Indian communication channels gave me huge time.
I’m investing that time on reading books + blogs, on writing, on studying design + design thinking + connecting dots and above all sketching.
Investment (on above things) gave me peace of mind, happiness and above all satisfaction.
I thought today I will share my point view (purely based on my experience) why I gave up alias disconnected with Indian printed news papers, Indian TV, Indian films, Facebook, Twitter, and above all (few & selected) living Indians.
I know that my point view (based on my experience) is not universal point of view and universal truth.
I am perfectly ok with that. That means I am perfectly ok if (one or many or all) reader don’t agree with my point of view.

Noel Park in north London is a planned community designed by Rowland Plumbe in the late 19th century, consisting of 2,200 model dwellings. It was developed in open countryside to the north of London between the historic villages of Highgate and Tottenham by the Artizans, Labourers & General Dwellings Company. One of the earliest garden suburbs in the world, it provided affordable housing for working-class families wishing to leave the inner city. Every property had a front and rear garden, and it was close enough to the rail network to allow its residents to commute to work. In line with the principles of the company’s founder, William Austin, it had no pubs, and there are still none today.
