What is Grade A Supply and Why Would a Narcissist Discard It or Downgrade It?
When people discuss being “Grade A supply,” they massively misunderstand what that means.
The major misstep they make is presuming that a narcissist’s brain works like someone with empathy.
They presume that a beautiful, intelligent, wealthy, nurturing supply source is going to be desired by the narcissists for feelings of GRATITUDE AND ADMIRATION.
NO.
The narcissist brain does not have the emotional intelligence for that: they’ve never in their lives experienced the feelings of love, much less feelings aligned with it, like gratitude or admiration.
What can look like admiration to them (for example, every time Trump or Biden or Putin or Elon Musk or whatever narcissist they worship comes on their TV, they ejaculate in their pants) is actually just mirroring. They see the person as someone to mimic, to design their mask after.
And the supply they get from grade A supply, they can get from anywhere.
