A revered sports commentator and TV presenter, Suhail Chandhok’s personality is what sets him apart from the rest. It’s understood that his contribution to the development of Sportzchain will prove to be invaluable.
Suhail Chandhok is a Former Professional Cricket and currently one of India’s leading television Presenters and Commentators. Chandhok specializes in Cricket, Kabaddi, Badminton, Football, Motorsport and Hockey, among other sports. Hailing from a family of sports-enthusiasts, Chandhok has been in the sports industry since 2007. He graduated from the University of Adelaide in 2008, with an Oxford-Cambridge Half Blue for excellence in Sport and since then, he hasn’t stopped climbing the corporate ladder in the sports industry. Known for his mic skills and sharp analysis, Chandhok has been an essential part of organizations such as Star TV Network., RISE, Kabaddi Adda, Adrenna Communications, Elev8 India Sportz and the South Australian Cricket Association. From 2007 to 2009, Chandhok worked in Australia as an Accredited Level 2 High Performance Coach. His love for the sport of cricket is also evident in the fact that he also played as a professional cricketer for India Pistons Ltd. from March 2011 to April 2013. Chandhok also made it into the Royal Challengers Bangalore squad ahead of the Champions League 2009. However, due to injuries, he wasn’t able to sustain his career as a professional cricketer. Yet, he overcame all the hurdles and transitioned into the role of being one of India’s faces and voices of Sport.
A little-known fact about Suhail Chandhok is that he has also graced the Silver Screen too. Chandhok starred in the Tamil film, Veeram, in which he was cast into the role of Ajith Kumar’s younger brother. Chandhok caught the Tamil superstar’s attention because of the short films that he made. Thereon, a friendship between the two developed. In August of 2021, Chandhok also started his freelancing career in the field of sports commentary. Due to his sharp acumen and reputation in the sports industry, his association with Sportzchain will be highly beneficial for the start-up. Apart from achieving astonishing feats in his professional career, Suhail Chandhok has also been a part of The Lighthouse Project, India, as a mentor. He has been mentoring a teenager from an under-resourced community for 8 hours a month over the past 4 years, ensuring that even those with very limited resources are given support to be able to make their dreams a reality.
