You make the point that by interacting through conversation, you put regressive ideology on equal footing with progressive ideology. That would be a good point if these were actual debates. Instead, they are just representations of 1–1 conversations. I wonder what alternatives to conversation you propose.

Maybe bashing in people’s faces with beer bottles? That or staying isolated from and calling ‘stupid’ those people whose opinions deviate from your own.

I am also annoyed by many of the ad’s elements, but its main message is a good one. We need to change people’s minds through reason. Something that actually seems to be happening in the ad in favor of the progressive side.
