You don’t want to miss us this ISTE

Sphero is headed to the city of brotherly love to show some love for educators, STEAM, robots, and, time permitting, cheesesteaks.

This ISTE (International Society for Technology in Education), we’re in Philly talking about our latest offerings in hardware, software, and content. Basically, everything a techy teacher needs to promote STEAM principles and inspire the creators of tomorrow.

You need a badge to get in but we’re more than happy to pull back the curtain for our loyal blog readers. So, here’s a sneak peek at what you’ll find at Booth 2630 this year.

See an exclusive demo of our all-new, hackable, programmable robot, RVR, and learn how this mobile canvas can fit into your curriculum.

Sphero RVR

Tap into education with our color-activated musical rings, Specdrums. Music education is just the very beginning of the Specdrums experience — we’re using them to teach science, math, storytelling and more.

Meet the Sphero Code Mat — the new best way to learn and practice block programming. This 2-sided mat opens up unlimited opportunities to drive, code, and create. One side is a golf course, the other side is a city and each side comes with 10 block programming activities to get you rolling.

Get a sneak preview of our hot-off-the-press programming curriculum, Computer Science Foundations. Three courses, three ways to code, all learning levels. If you’ve been looking to integrate computer science into your STEAM curriculum, look no further.

There’s lots more but we don’t want to give away the whole farm (we’ll also be raffling off a farm). So, stop by Booth 2630 to say hello!

If you’re strategic about what day and time you stop by, you can sit in on one of our booth sessions. We’ll be talking about how to teach any subject with Sphero robots, how to get girls interested in STEAM and more. Also, look for a special presentation from local Philadelphia school teachers on how they use Sphero in their classrooms. We call them our Philly Fanatics. Not really, but we should. See below for the full schedule.
