This Dissolute Life Lived
A Short Poem
Aug 24, 2017 · 1 min read

Bubbling over the edge,
boiling, broiling like an egg
left to be scrambled
on a sidewalk this
world keeps spinning
and my mind is a
tea kettle
left on heat
for far too long,
this dissolute life
I’ve lived screams
from my sutured lips.
