Reason is about to drop his fifth album. It’s a concept album called Girls. “The album is about my different experiences with different types of girls — happy girls, sad girls, blessed girls, the other girl, the new girl, good girls, the girl upstairs,” he says in my interview with him.

Two singles from the album are already out: “All The Time” (featuring Gemini Major) and “Molly Cyrus”. Both are catchy, and Reason sings the hook on the former.

The album will be produced by The Boyz Upstairs — Instro, Hopemasta and Noyas. It will feature Ginger Trill, Kwesta, Monoea, Nomoozle, BK, Mr Beef, Gemini Major and Melo B Jones. He also has some monologues from influential women like Loot Love and Ms Cosmo on some of the songs.

In the interview above, Reazus explains the concepts of Girls and how he came up with the songs. He also talks about being independent — having left Motif Records, recalls the media hype he received from the Reazus artwork. Listen to the interview above, and check out the first two singles from Girls below.
