Puratap Wants You!

You are not alone in thinking their sales technique is obnoxious.

Serene image of our pond. We did not use the Pura Tap to fill it.

On the whole, my partner is a pretty laid back kind of guy. He would have to be to deal with me and my occasionally highly strung attitude to all of the things. I am amazed at how unfazed he can be in the face of his children simultaneously having a tantrum and sulking whilst I rant about the state of the planet. He is kind and gentle and a bit of a pushover. Until you push too far. Then he will dig his heels in and his stoic calm turns into stoic determination and you will not win.

That is why Pura Tap should stop ringing. At first, he thought it was kind of funny that they were constantly harassing him to change the filter when he was obviously ignoring them. But they didn’t stop. They kept ringing and texting. A lot. He kept ignoring them. His curiosity took hold, how many times could they call and text to tell him he needed to change his filter, NOW?

It has been three months of constant calls and texts. He is digging his heels in. Anyone else would have gone crazy at that number of intrusions into their life. Not him.

When we do get that filter changed you can be sure that Pura Tap will not be the ones changing it.

Today Pura Tap finally gave him a link to opt out. He took it. They have texted three times since.

This is what I would call persistent;

Bad reviews by others;

https://www.productreview.com.au/p/puratap.html

‘Puratap? More like Purapcrap!

Absolute joke of a company. Constant harassing calls. Dodgey nonsense claims that are flat out lies. The product is ok but in this saturated market of water filters you can get a better service with a better company that didn’t take marketing lessons from a 1990’s how to business video.’

AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS !!

After getting my puratap installed a couple years ago, I have been constantly harassed and bullied into getting my filter changed, I find it extremely traumatic when they keep calling me with aggressive marketing and I had to tell them to stop or I was going to get legal advice, I would like this company to be exposed for being so aggressive it’s very disappointing, I also realise that all these 5 star reviews are false which makes me even more outraged with how immature and arrogant this company is, I want puretap to realise people aren’t stupid and eventually word of mouth will conquer. Please puratap do not contact me or reply.

There are many more of these complaints, no one has a problem with the product itself just the dodgey, harassing sales technique. Seems like a strategical error on their part for a sustainable business model

Update: 07/09/18 Call from Puratap.
