How To Write A Popular Medium Story

I’ve seen this happen so many times, even before Medium. This kind of regurgitation is part of how ideas spread. People copy others, serve their own interests and get it wrong. People with original thoughts and contributions get annoyed and leave a scene with a bad taste in their mouth. It’s sad when that happens.

What’s promising is that you’ve figured this out way before I did, even to the point of writing such a great meta post.

The question I was was faced with was, given these waves, am I going to surf or am I going to fight the moon? (I often chose the latter.)

Or do you see it another way?

One clap, two clap, three clap, forty?

By clapping more or less, you can signal to us which stories really stand out.
