Couldn’t agree with you more on that. I’m an artist (literally). I grew up watching anime and all my sketches including my pet project Yume (yoomeh) are Japanese inspired. People ask me to sketch portraits of them and i flatly refuse, not because I can’t do it, but because I don’t want to sketch portraits.
