Meet Our New State Salads
With fall upon us we at Salads UP know it’s time to change it UP and make some new creations in the test kitchen. There’s no better time of year than those fall days in Ann Arbor or Madison, wearing an oversized sweater on the way to the library. And in those moments you want food that makes you feel warm inside, food that’s familiar…comfort food.
So with that we went back to our roots. We went back to the berry. For Michigan is the largest producer of cherries in the US and Wisconsin is the leader in cranberry production. And because you can never go wrong putting cherries and cranberries onto stuff.
So without further ado, our new state salads:
Pure Michigan — Spring Mix, Shaved Parmesan, Candied Walnuts, Dried Michigan Cherries, Apples, Pita Chips, Cherry Balsamic Vinaigrette
Badger State — Spring Mix, Turkey Bacon, Goat Cheese, Candied Walnuts, Apples, Sunflower Seeds, Cranberry Vinaigrette
Sweet, savory, crunchy, and hearty. Enjoy and come say S’UP!
