Salomon Juan Marcos Villarreal grew up in a family that has been involved in the textile industry for more than 50 years, starting with his grandfather in Coahuila, Mexico. Salomon Juan Marcos Villarreal began his professional career by becoming the CEO and director of the family-owned Grupo Denim in 1991.

Grupo Denim was founded by the Juan Marcos family in Gomez Palacio, Durango, Mexico, with the intent of providing world-class customer service in the denim apparel industry. The success of the company, with 8,000 employees in its Latin American manufacturing plants, has allowed the business to expand into major markets like the United States.

Grupo Denim has manufacturing facilities in La Laguna, Mexico, and Managua, Nicaragua, where the company has expanded its manufacturing to include finishing services. With over 2,000,000 garments sold in the export and domestic markets, Grupo Denim is providing 95 percent of its denim apparel to USA-based consumers and companies.
