A couple other useful notes when working with keyboards:

• You can set the return key type to things like go, google, send, or other some other useful buttons that allow you to submit without the need to close the keyboard first.
• Soon you will be able to include a custom button (natively) on top of the keyboard, which will give you functionality like the example below (github issue; product pains).
