The psychological need demands full accommodation. Otherwise, you cause psychological harm. That’s been proven by studies, polls, and suicide. So, yes, absolutely, a psychological need, verified by the medical and mental health community, demands that you meet and accommodate that need. Again, otherwise, you do harm. And that’s a slippery slope. It is really that simple.
