Yes. His use of Mollie to say “kill them all” has to register on some measure of fighting words and inciting violence. And I hate to think that children and young people could pick up these calls. In one report, a mother of a biracial child answered the call and she was disturbed. According to hate-watch groups, this is new. So now, ringtones are a form of racism roulette. I admit, I am not objective or constitutionally sound on this issue. But do we allow automated x-rated calls or robocalls with obscene language? Apparently, the FCC doesn’t see a need for their services and oversight with racist robocalls. Telemarketing is more important and a bigger nuisance.
